Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,742.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nikolai Borisovich Terpsikhorov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spring Landscape With Carts, which sold at auction in November 2012 for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,549.05).
