A top price for Nikolai Alexandrovich Yaroshenko - as previously expected
The work Self Portrait by Nikolai Alexandrovich Yaroshenko was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The price achieved of GBP 97,250.00 (€ 117,582.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Self Portrait is the most expensive artwork by Nikolai Alexandrovich Yaroshenko that we have observed at auctions so far.
