Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mist In The Caucasus by Nikolai Alexandrovich Klodt was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2018. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,574.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nikolai Alexandrovich Klodt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River Landscape in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 103,250.00 (€ 130,511.46).
