This artwork by Nicolas Issaiev achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2008. In the Russian Paintings auction, the work Still Life sold for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 25,280.67) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. This high result makes Still Life the most expensive artwork by Nicolas Issaiev that we have observed at auctions so far.
