Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nicolas Issaiev could be acquired at Sothebys in Olympia in June 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian auction, the work Two Compositions: Still Life With Oranges And Still Life With Sunflowers changed hands for GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,598.24) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicolas Issaiev - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life, which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 25,280.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nicolas Issaiev konnte im Juni 2006 bei Sothebys in Olympia für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Russian wechselte die Arbeit Two Compositions: Still Life With Oranges And Still Life With Sunflowers für GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.598,24) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Nicolas Issaiev mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 25.280,67) versteigert wurde.
