The work “Blågulrød - ornamentik” by Niels Nedergaard was sold in the Modern art and design auction at Bruun Rasmussen in April this year. The »bidding war« ended at DKK 2,800.00 (€ 375.62), 40% above the estimate. Admittedly, works by Niels Nedergaard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October last year with an auction result of SEK 40,000.00 (€ 3,660.16).

Die Arbeit “Blågulrød - ornamentik” von Niels Nedergaard wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 2.800,00 (€ 375,62) und damit 40% über dem Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Niels Nedergaard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 40.000,00 (€ 3.660,16).
