Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Phillips in 17 - held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, which included this untitled work by Nicole Eisenman. The price achieved of USD 16,510.00 (€ 14,981.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicole Eisenman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mermaid Catch in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 862,500.00 (€ 1,013,215.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Phillips in 17 - die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nicole Eisenman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 16.510,00 (€ 14.981,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicole Eisenman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mermaid Catch im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 862.500,00 (€ 1.013.215,32).
