Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nicolaus Knupfer could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in January 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Master Paintings & 19th Century European Art auction, the work Parable Of The Laborers In The Vineyard changed hands for USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,692.76) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolaus Knupfer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venus And Cupid in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 337,250.00 (€ 428,479.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nicolaus Knupfer konnte im Januar 2016 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Master Paintings & 19th Century European Art wechselte die Arbeit Parable Of The Laborers In The Vineyard für USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.692,76) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00.
