A top price for Nicolas Sternberg - as previously expected
The work Nu Allongé Au Sofa by Nicolas Sternberg was sold in the Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings auction at Artcurial in Paris in October 2009. The price achieved of EUR 682.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Nu Allongé Au Sofa is the most expensive artwork by Nicolas Sternberg that we have observed at auctions so far.
