Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 16,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicolas-Jacques Julliard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Un paysage pastoral au moulin (1) ; et Un paysage pastoral à la cascade (2), which sold at auction in September 2017 for EUR 35,000.00.

Die Arbeit Animated Landscape With A Farm von Nicolas-Jacques Julliard kam im Juni 2017 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion.
