The »bidding war« ended at USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,807.85), 43% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicolas Baudesson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Morning Glory, Chrysanthemums, Carnations And Other Flowers In An Antique Vase, which sold at auction in January 2014 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 37,037.04).

Die Arbeit A Still Life Of A Basket Filled With Flowers von Nicolas Baudesson wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Old Masters bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.807,85) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Nicolas Baudesson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Morning Glory, Chrysanthemums, Carnations And Other Flowers In An Antique Vase beobachtet, die im Januar 2014 für USD 50.000,00 (€ 37.037,04) versteigert wurde.
