Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Convergenze by Nicola Carrino was auctioned at Christies in Milan in May 2000. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of ITL 7,000,000.00 – 10,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of ITL 7,637,500.00 (€ 6,550.17) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicola Carrino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Relievo 2/72, which sold at auction in December 2020 for EUR 13,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Convergenze von Nicola Carrino kam im Mai 2000 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von ITL 7.000.000,00 – 10.000.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von ITL 7.637.500,00 (€ 6.550,17) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Nicola Carrino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Relievo 2/72 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für EUR 13.750,00 versteigert wurde.
