Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nico Molenkamp could be acquired at Sothebys in Amsterdam in March 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours auction, the work A Collection Of Drawings And Gouaches changed hands for EUR 1,320.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nico Molenkamp have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Schietplank in December 2001 with an auction result of EUR 6,462.50.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nico Molenkamp konnte im März 2007 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours wechselte die Arbeit A Collection Of Drawings And Gouaches für EUR 1.320,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nico Molenkamp auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Schietplank im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.462,50.
