Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nick Lowe could be acquired at Bonhams in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 1,912.50 (€ 1,732.34) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nick Lowe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Baghdaddy Kane in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 28,000.00 (€ 19,063.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nick Lowe konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 1.912,50 (€ 1.732,34) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nick Lowe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Baghdaddy Kane im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.000,00 (€ 19.063,18).
