Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Squirrels On Pine Tree by Ni Tian was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 43,750.00 (€ 5,000.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 35,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ni Tian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figures in April this year with an auction result of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 61,271.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Squirrels On Pine Tree von Ni Tian wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 43.750,00 (€ 5.000,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 35.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ni Tian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figures im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 61.271,74).
