Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ni Tian achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2020. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Literati Gathering In The Garden sold for HKD 252,000.00 (€ 27,911.05) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ni Tian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figures, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 60,000.00 (€ 61,271.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ni Tian erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Literati Gathering In The Garden für HKD 252.000,00 (€ 27.911,05) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ni Tian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Figures beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 60.000,00 (€ 61.271,74) versteigert wurde.
