Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Christies held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online including the Collection of Sun Ah Book Center, which included the work Horses and Grooms by Ni Tian. The price achieved of HKD 27,500.00 (€ 3,114.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ni Tian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figures in April this year with an auction result of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 61,271.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Christies die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online including the Collection of Sun Ah Book Center durch, in der auch die Arbeit Horses and Grooms von Ni Tian zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 27.500,00 (€ 3.114,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ni Tian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figures im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 61.271,74).
