Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Herding by Ni Tian. The price achieved of HKD 12,600.00 (€ 1,495.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ni Tian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figures in April this year with an auction result of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 61,271.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Herding von Ni Tian zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 12.600,00 (€ 1.495,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ni Tian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figures im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 61.271,74).
