Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bamboo, Rock and Squirrels, after Hua Yan, 1918 by Ni Tian was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in March last year. The price achieved of USD 2,422.50 (€ 2,183.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ni Tian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figures in April this year with an auction result of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 61,271.74).
