This artwork by Nguyen Tri Minh achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in June this year. In the Vietnamese Art Online auction, the work Tranquilité sold for EUR 5,376.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nguyen Tri Minh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Maison Avec Arbre Rouge (House With Red Tree), which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,956.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 79 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nguyen Tri Minh erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Vietnamese Art Online wurde die Arbeit Tranquilité für EUR 5.376,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Nguyen Tri Minh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Maison Avec Arbre Rouge (House With Red Tree) beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.956,34) versteigert wurde.
