Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Day Sale, which included the work Sur La Côte (By The Coast) by Nguyen Tri Minh. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,108.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nguyen Tri Minh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Maison Avec Arbre Rouge (House With Red Tree), which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,956.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sur La Côte (By The Coast) von Nguyen Tri Minh zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.108,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nguyen Tri Minh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Maison Avec Arbre Rouge (House With Red Tree) beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.956,34) versteigert wurde.
