Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les Jonques De Pêche (Fishing Junks) by Nguyen Tri Minh was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Online auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2019. The price achieved of HKD 47,500.00 (€ 5,432.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nguyen Tri Minh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Maison Avec Arbre Rouge (House With Red Tree), which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,956.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Les Jonques De Pêche (Fishing Junks) von Nguyen Tri Minh wurde im Dezember 2019 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Online bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 5.432,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nguyen Tri Minh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Maison Avec Arbre Rouge (House With Red Tree) beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.956,34) versteigert wurde.
