Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nguyen Phuoc could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction, the work Les Trois Femmes (The Three Girls) changed hands for HKD 23,750.00 (€ 2,193.30) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nguyen Phuoc achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Preparing For The Wedding in October 2020 with an auction result of HKD 403,200.00 (€ 44,657.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nguyen Phuoc konnte im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Les Trois Femmes (The Three Girls) für HKD 23.750,00 (€ 2.193,30) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nguyen Phuoc erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Preparing For The Wedding im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 403.200,00 (€ 44.657,68).
