Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Nejad Devrim was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 40,000.00 (€ 4,141.35). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nejad Devrim achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstract Composition in April 2012 with an auction result of GBP 735,650.00 (€ 902,254.23).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nejad Devrim im April 2017 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 40.000,00 (€ 4.141,35) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nejad Devrim erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstract Composition im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 735.650,00 (€ 902.254,23).
