This artwork by Ned Jacob achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Beverly Hills in November 2004. In the CALIFORNIA, WESTERN AND AMERICAN PAINTINGS auction, the work Shoshone sold for USD 7,170.00 (€ 5,407.65) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Ned Jacob have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grandfather, Give Us Your Children in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,970.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ned Jacob erzielte im November 2004 bei Christies in Beverly Hills einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion CALIFORNIA, WESTERN AND AMERICAN PAINTINGS wurde die Arbeit Shoshone für USD 7.170,00 (€ 5.407,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ned Jacob auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Grandfather, Give Us Your Children im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.970,30).
