Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Head) by Navjot Altaf was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in September 2007. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,395.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Navjot Altaf have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work December 15th - 2000 in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 28,440.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Head) von Navjot Altaf wurde im September 2007 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.395,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
