Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Arc · Ellipse IV by Natsuyuki Nakanishi was sold in the 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 2,500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 2,772,000.00 (€ 329,095.89). Other works by Natsuyuki Nakanishi have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 5,740,000.00 (€ 617,997.98) in November 2017 for the work LlR - 87 - I.
