This artwork by Natsuki Urushihara achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Golden Valley sold for HKD 237,500.00 (€ 22,517.64) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Natsuki Urushihara - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Planet, which sold at auction in May 2014 for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 65,020.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Natsuki Urushihara erzielte im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Golden Valley für HKD 237.500,00 (€ 22.517,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Natsuki Urushihara mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Planet beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für HKD 687.500,00 (€ 65.020,16) versteigert wurde.
