Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Standing Female Figure, 1960 by Nathan Oliveira was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 4,462.50 (€ 3,854.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nathan Oliveira achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Standing Woman With Long Hair, 1959 in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 144,062.50 (€ 124,438.54).

Die Arbeit Standing Female Figure, 1960 von Nathan Oliveira wurde im September 2021 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert.
