Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life with Sunflowers by Natalia Goncharova was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 180,000.00 – 250,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 189,000.00 (€ 221,903.78) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Natalia Goncharova achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Picking Apples in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 4,948,000.00 (€ 7,342,583.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life with Sunflowers von Natalia Goncharova wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 180.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 189.000,00 (€ 221.903,78) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Natalia Goncharova erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Picking Apples im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.948.000,00 (€ 7.342.583,14).
