Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Natalia Goncharova could be acquired at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in November last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the European Art auction, the work Costume Design for Anna Pavlova changed hands for USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,470.21) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Natalia Goncharova achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Picking Apples in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 4,948,000.00 (€ 7,342,583.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Natalia Goncharova konnte im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion European Art wechselte die Arbeit Costume Design for Anna Pavlova für USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.470,21) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Natalia Goncharova erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Picking Apples im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.948.000,00 (€ 7.342.583,14).
