Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Curtain Design For Liturgie by Natalia Goncharova was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2017. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,541.10) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Natalia Goncharova achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Picking Apples in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 4,948,000.00 (€ 7,342,583.14).
