Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Costume Design For Judas From Liturgie by Natalia Goncharova was sold in the Russian Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in November 2013. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,281.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Natalia Goncharova achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Picking Apples in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 4,948,000.00 (€ 7,342,583.14).
