Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Costume Design For Bronislava Nijinska For The 1932 Production Of Bolero by Natalia Goncharova was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 9,000.00 (€ 10,881.68) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Natalia Goncharova achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Picking Apples in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 4,948,000.00 (€ 7,342,583.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Costume Design For Bronislava Nijinska For The 1932 Production Of Bolero von Natalia Goncharova kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 9.000,00 (€ 10.881,68) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Natalia Goncharova erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Picking Apples im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.948.000,00 (€ 7.342.583,14).
