This artwork by Natale Schiavoni achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in April 2001. In the British & Continental Pictures auction, the work Lost in thought sold for GBP 2,350.00 (€ 3,788.49) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Natale Schiavoni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Madonna Con Bambino E San Giovannino in June 2009 with an auction result of EUR 34,350.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Natale Schiavoni erzielte im April 2001 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British & Continental Pictures wurde die Arbeit Lost in thought für GBP 2.350,00 (€ 3.788,49) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Natale Schiavoni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Madonna Con Bambino E San Giovannino im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 34.350,00.
