The auction ended at the price of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,379.24), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nassos Daphnis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 20-60 in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 48,750.00 (€ 57,130.19).

Die Arbeit Echos des Rochers von Nassos Daphnis kam im Juni 2015 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.379,24) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nassos Daphnis erzielen.
