A top price for Nashar
The work Abstract by Nashar was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,532.49), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. With this result, Abstract is even the most expensive work of art by Nashar that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Abstract von Nashar wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.532,49) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Abstract sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Nashar, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
