Artwork auctioned at seven times the upper estimate price
When the work Free Style Party - 2015 by Nascio was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in May 2015, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at - in retrospect quite modest - EUR 501.00 but the actual price achieved was more than seven times as high at EUR 3,800.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nascio; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Boîte Aux Lettres sold at auction in March 2012 with the realized price of EUR 7,600.00.
Kunstwerk zum Siebenfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Als die Arbeit Free Style Party - 2015 von Nascio im Mai 2015 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – EUR 501,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit EUR 3.800,00 mehr als siebenmal so hoch. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Nascio; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Boîte Aux Lettres im März 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 7.600,00.
