Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Narine Tate could be acquired at Christies in London in September 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Seated nude changed hands for GBP 187.50 (€ 237.07) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Narine Tate - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work At the seaside, which sold at auction in October 2003 for GBP 646.25 (€ 943.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Narine Tate konnte im September 2008 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Seated nude für GBP 187,50 (€ 237,07) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Narine Tate mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit At the seaside beobachtet, die im Oktober 2003 für GBP 646,25 (€ 943,91) versteigert wurde.
