This artwork by Nareen Nath achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March this year. In the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online auction, the work without title sold for USD 5,670.00 (€ 5,215.23) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nareen Nath - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in September 2020 for GBP 10,080.00 (€ 11,114.84).

In der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 5.670,00 (€ 5.215,23) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Nareen Nath mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im September 2020 für GBP 10.080,00 (€ 11.114,84) versteigert wurde.
