Despite a disappointment, a good price for Nan Youngman
This work of art by Nan Youngman could be acquired at Christies in London in October 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work Kiln at Stoke changed hands for GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,738.41) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Kiln at Stoke is the most expensive artwork by Nan Youngman that we have observed at auction so far.
