A top price for Namcheong - as previously expected
In September 2004 Christies in London held the auction Exploration and Travel with The Polar Sale, which included the work Chinese River Landscapes by Namcheong. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,755.00 (€ 15,668.68) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Chinese River Landscapes is the most expensive artwork by Namcheong that we have observed at auctions so far.
