Despite a disappointment, a good price for Nahid Raza
This work of art by Nahid Raza could be acquired at Bonhams in London in May last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction, the work Untitled (Chowkandi series) changed hands for GBP 446.25 (€ 524.97) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Despite this disappointing result, Untitled (Chowkandi series) is the most expensive artwork by Nahid Raza that we have observed at auction so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Nahid Raza konnte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Chowkandi series) für GBP 446,25 (€ 524,97) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Untitled (Chowkandi series) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Nahid Raza, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
