A top price for Nadia Kaabi-Linke - as previously expected
In May this year Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, which included the work Carthage Presidence by Nadia Kaabi-Linke. The price achieved of USD 52,920.00 (€ 49,671.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Carthage Presidence is the most expensive artwork by Nadia Kaabi-Linke that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Carthage Presidence von Nadia Kaabi-Linke zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 52.920,00 (€ 49.671,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Carthage Presidence das teuerste Kunstwerk von Nadia Kaabi-Linke, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
