This work of art by Nicolai Abraham Abildgaard could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Study sheet with Lesbia and Catullus with notes and calculations changed hands for DKK 4,400.00 (€ 590.14) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nicolai Abraham Abildgaard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'Amour Et Psyché in April 2019 with an auction result of EUR 5,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nicolai Abraham Abildgaard konnte im November diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Study sheet with Lesbia and Catullus with notes and calculations für DKK 4.400,00 (€ 590,14) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicolai Abraham Abildgaard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'Amour Et Psyché im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.200,00.
