In March 2006 Christies in New York held the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Waiting by Myron G. Barlow. The »bidding war« ended at USD 12,000.00 (€ 9,885.49), 71% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Myron G. Barlow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In The Garden, which sold at auction in October 2017 for USD 32,500.00 (€ 27,901.79).

Im März 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Waiting von Myron G. Barlow zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 12.000,00 (€ 9.885,49) und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Myron G. Barlow mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit In The Garden beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für USD 32.500,00 (€ 27.901,79) versteigert wurde.
