In March 2018 Christies in London held the auction Modern | British & Irish Art, which included the work In the Wings; together with an oil landscape and pencil figure study by the same hand by Murray Urquhart. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,554.22), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Murray Urquhart - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Travelling Circus, which sold at auction in October 2007 for GBP 6,500.00 (€ 9,334.43).

Im März 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern | British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit In the Wings; together with an oil landscape and pencil figure study by the same hand von Murray Urquhart zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.554,22) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Murray Urquhart mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Travelling Circus beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für GBP 6.500,00 (€ 9.334,43) versteigert wurde.
