Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Takashi Murakami achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Murakami X Complexcon Mr. Dob (Two Works) sold for HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,037.59) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Takashi Murakami achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Lonesome Cowboy in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 15,161,000.00 (€ 9,743,573.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Takashi Murakami erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Murakami X Complexcon Mr. Dob (Two Works) für HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.037,59) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Takashi Murakami erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Lonesome Cowboy im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.161.000,00 (€ 9.743.573,26).
