This artwork by Muraina Oyelami achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in July this year. In the Modern & Contemporary African Art auction, the work Sans titre sold for EUR 2,816.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Muraina Oyelami; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Gwari woman with Ldada child, Woman from Wales, Woman head, Head study, Sans titre (cinq oeuvres) sold at auction in July this year with the realized price of EUR 3,200.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Muraina Oyelami erzielte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art wurde die Arbeit Sans titre für EUR 2.816,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Muraina Oyelami; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Gwari woman with Ldada child, Woman from Wales, Woman head, Head study, Sans titre (cinq oeuvres) im Juli diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 3.200,00.
