It achieved a price of USD 81,900.00 (€ 73,830.34), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Other works by Munakata Shiko have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 70,500.00 (€ 81,090.41) in November 2000 for the work Hakki-hi (White-skinned goddess).
